Freedom - and overcoming the history...

For Cyril, the dream was to overcome the “bad gene” in his family. Almost every member of his immediate family wears glasses, including his son. To be able to set the glasses aside and experience clear, unaided vision became Cyril’s goal, and recently, with the help of Dr. Misra, he achieved that goal.

“On our wedding day, my wife and I both wore glasses. Every photo taken that day of the two of us has those dark rims, front and center. Now I look at those photographs and smile, because that was me, and now this is me. Now the glasses are off, and I can drive or watch tv or whatever I want without them.”

Cyril and his blushing bride on their wedding day in 1969- both had to wear glasses.
